This consists of carefully looking around your mouth, taking x-rays, and running specialised tests as indicated. Usually your teeth will require a scale and clean (removal of plaque and tartar) twice a year. Your dentist will also recommend X-rays of teeth and gums are taken to give a more complete image of your child’s oral health. By having a regular checkup, your children will develop healthy habits for life.
