DentalOne comes to your childcare center
DentalOne is delighted to offer local child care centres a day of fun and interactive learning about oral hygiene. Our passionate team, including an Oral Health Therapist (OHT) and Dental Assistants, will demonstrate to children how to care for their teeth and teach correct oral hygiene practices. The two-hour session includes engaging activities such as reading the picture book “Dr. Rabbit Meets a Brushalotamus” to help children learn about beneficial and harmful foods for their teeth. The OHT and Dental Assistant will present a poster illustrating proper oral hygiene, followed by an interactive demonstration on a large tooth model where each child can practice their new skills. After the presentations, the OHT will conduct individual check-ups, providing a dental report to parents/guardians. At the end of the visit, our team will distribute gift packs with DentalOne keyrings and information on caring for baby teeth and what to expect as their child grows.

By catching cavities and infections early, we can extend the life of these teeth. We understand that visiting the dentist can be a daunting experience for some children, often causing significant anxiety.
By bringing our team to your childcare center, we can help prepare children for what to expect during a dental visit. This proactive approach aims to make dental visits more comfortable and less intimidating. Our ultimate goal is to promote the importance of oral hygiene and ensure that children feel at ease when visiting the dentist.

Child Dental Benefits Scheme $1095
- Child aged between 0 and 17
- Benefits per child over 2 consecutive calender years
- Covers a wide range of services
- Not available towards orthodontic or cosmetic dental work
- Does not count towards Medicare Safety Net or Extended Medicare Safety Net thresholds
