Achieve a Confident, Fixed Smile
with All-on-X

Transform your smile and quality of life with All-on-X full-arch dental implants at DentalOne.
This advanced treatment replaces failing or missing teeth with a fixed, natural-looking bridge—so you can chew comfortably, smile freely, and get back to living.

At DentalOne, your treatment is planned by our experienced team using 3D imaging and digital smile design, then delivered in a streamlined workflow designed for safety, comfort, and long-term success.

If you’re having trouble with your teeth, struggling to chew or bite, missing teeth, finding it hard to keep your dentures in place, or hiding your smile, All-on-X could be the solution for you. It’s the permanent, secure, and natural-looking alternative to removable dentures, helping you enjoy eating, speaking, and smiling with confidence again.

What is All-on-X?

All-on-X is a full-arch solution where four or more dental implants support a fixed bridge that replaces all teeth on the upper or lower jaw. It’s ideal for people with many missing, broken-down, or heavily restored teeth, or those struggling with dentures. All-on-X can help if you have:

  • Multiple failing teeth or heavily broken restorations
  • Difficulty chewing or eating due to missing teeth
  • Advanced gum disease with mobile teeth
  • Dentures you can’t tolerate or that won’t stay in place
  • Bone loss that makes traditional approaches challenging

At Dental One, we tailor the number and position of implants to your anatomy, using digital planning for stability and aesthetics.

Caring for Your All-on-X

Treat your new smile like a precision device that needs routine care.

The All-on-X Process at Dental One

Step 1 – Initial Consultation

We assess suitability by reviewing oral health, bone volume/quality (CBCT), and periodontal and decay risk; take models/scans and discuss smile goals; review medical history (including anticoagulants, diabetes, smoking, and bisphosphonates); and complete written consent with an initial fee discussion.

Caring Hygienist Patient Interaction

Step 2 – Financial & Medical Clearance

We confirm funding (finance/Super) and suitability for general anaesthesia; obtain GP/physician clearance (bloods and ECG if required); arrange an anaesthetist pre-assessment; and provide a finalised treatment plan with fees.

Dentist and Patient Review Scans

Step 3 – Pre-Surgery Digital Planning

We book the surgery date; capture records for immediate prosthesis design (photos, scans, and try-in/wax-up if needed); provide a pre-operative antibiotics/analgesics/chlorhexidine protocol; and issue fasting and GA instructions, complete hospital paperwork, and obtain GA consent.

Step 4 – Surgery Day

You’ll check in, you will meet the anaesthetist, and go to sleep under GA. While you’re asleep, the surgeon places dental implants. We then take precise digital measurements—using photogrammetry or a verification jig if immediate loading is planned—to ensure your new teeth fit accurately. After cleaning, we place your planned temporary bridge or protective covers, take photos and monitor you in recovery before reviewing home-care instructions, medications, and follow-up.

Step 5 – Immediate Prosthesis and Healing

Before you go home, we fit a fixed provisional bridge (often PMMA/acrylic) and carefully check your bite. You’ll receive written soft-diet and hygiene instructions along with pain medication and antibiotics. We book your 1-week review before you leave, and schedule follow-ups at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months to monitor healing and implant integration, including a visit with our Oral Health Therapist.

Step 6 – Final Prosthesis

We take definitive impressions with a verification jig and record your bite, then complete aesthetic and phonetic try-ins to fine-tune fit and appearance. Your definitive bridge is delivered with all torque values documented. You’ll receive a maintenance plan with recalls every 6–12 months.

Understanding the Risks and Limitations

All-on-X is a surgical procedure and, like all surgeries, carries risks such as infection, bleeding, nerve disturbance, prosthetic fracture, or implant failure. Healing varies, especially with factors like diabetes, smoking, or low bone density. Some patients require grafting or staged approaches. You’ll receive personalised risk information and written consent documents before treatment.

At DentalOne, our care continues well beyond your surgery. You’ll be closely monitored through every stage of recovery, with regular reviews to ensure optimal healing and implant integration. Our team provides detailed post-operative instructions, access to support when you need it, and ongoing maintenance care to help you achieve long-term comfort, function, and confidence in your new smile.
